inter|rupture is published three times a year and accepts original, unpublished works of poetry, fiction, and visual art.
We read year round and will respond within 1-3 months. Please send only one submission every six months.
Simultaneous submissions are encouraged, but please notify us asap if your work has been accepted elsewhere.
We acquire first serial rights for work we publish. All rights revert to author after publication.
We kindly ask that you acknowledge inter|rupture if work is reprinted in a book or chapbook. Thanks.

POETRY
Send up to 5 poems along with a cover letter as one Word document (.doc) attachment.
(Don't send multiple attachments) 

FICTION
Send stories no more than 2000 words along with a cover letter as one Word document (.doc) attachment.

VISUAL ART
Please send up to 5 high res images (.jpg or .pdf) and an artist statement (.doc) as attachments.

We only accept submissions via email. Please send your submissions to submit(at)interrupture(dot)com.
In the subject line, please provide your name and genre of submission. Example: Charlie Kelly Poetry.
