“The always new requirements of the social and the metaphysical
engage the artist in finding a new language and new techniques.”
 -- Jean-Paul Sartre

inter|rupture aims to startle and assault the current by providing readers with emerging and established artists who crave discovery. We publish three times a year--February, June, and October--and primarily feature poetry. As we gain recognition and a strong readership, we will grow to include book reviews, essays, and interviews. If you are interested in being a part of inter|rupture, please read an issue (it's free) and then check out our submission guidelines. We hope you enjoy the journal.
