“The always new requirements of the social and the metaphysical
engage the artist in finding a new language and new techniques.”
 -- Jean-Paul Sartre

inter|rupture aims to startle and assault the current by providing readers with emerging and established artists who crave discovery. We publish three times a year--February, June, and October--and primarily feature poetry. If you are interested in being a part of inter|rupture, please read an issue (it's free) and then check out our submission guidelines. Our poems have been selected to appear in the Best of the Net Anthology three years in a row (2011, 2012, & 2013) and have been featured on Verse Daily. We hope you enjoy the journal.
